Project Status

The project has been implemented under grant from APEDA and ASIDE Scheme of Ministry of Commerce and Industries, GOI for facilitatingexport of fresh ginger and supply raw materials to export oriented ginger processing units. The project facilities was handed over to a private party(Ms. Seven Food Procesing Ltd.) for running and operation of the project in March, 2014

Infrastructure Facilities available/to be available

The AEZ ginger package house with cold store: 2000 MT capacity of fresh ginger/ other fresh fruits and vegetables cold storage room, 10 MT capacity of pre-coolers, 5 MT per hour capacity of mechanised ginger washing - sorting - packaging line, ginger unloading area, raw material store, quality control lab, packing material store, goods lift of 3 MT capacity for movement of ginger between grounfd and first floor levels, truck docking bay for loading of ginger cartoon/pallets into refrigerated trucks/container, 315 KVA, 11/0.433 KV distribution dedicated transformer, power backup Genset of 140 KVA each (2 nos), material handling equipments,weighing scales etc.
